Our Partnerships

The Children’s Museum of the Arts

The mission of the Children’s Museum of the Arts is to extend the benefits of the arts to all children and their communities and to secure the future of the arts by inspiring and championing the next generation of artists and art lovers.

We work to fulfill our mission by providing authentic hands-on art experiences for children with artists, both in our art-filled interactive museum, in the community, and by collecting and exhibiting children’s art.

St. John’s Bread & Life

Sprinmg 2009. Bread & Life address the issues of hunger and poverty in Brooklyn and Queens. Every day they serve over one thousand meals to hungry New Yorkers. They provide this service both at their Lewis Avenue facility and through their unique Mobile Soup Kitchen. Their goal is to combat poverty and help people achieve self-sufficiency, in addition to educating the public, and increasing awareness about meals to needy New Yorkers. The {NewNew} hosted this wonderful charity during our annual Spring Handmade Cavalcade at the Bell House in Brooklyn on May 9th & 10th 2009. Our guests got to choose from two different "Thank You Gifts" created by The {NewNew} including an all inclusive zine filled with themes of Renewal, Transformation, Growth and Community, and a Surprise Box that concealed handmade goodies. If you are currently interested in making a donation, please see Bread & Life's online donation page.
